This is not only a keyboard typing app, but also an English word learning tool including, but not limited to, kids.
Contrary to some languages, the pronunciation of alphabet letters don't match the pronunciation of an English word.
For example, the pronunciation of the word "cat" does not match its spelling "c-a-t".
This may make it difficult to learn English for the first time, specially if a kid is learning English as a second language.
In the hope to teach kids the basics of English reading, this app has the following main features.
- Use of simple object English words with their meanings being represented by animated icons.
- Repeat the pronunciation of the word as well as its spelling continuously.
- Indicates the next letter to be typed.
It also has a simple navigation and manuals in 3 languages.
Users can also configure the following learning levels:
- Number of letters in the word.
- Show words in Upper and/or Lower case. This changes also the keyboard configuration.
- Speak and/or spell word.
- Highlight the nex key to be typed after 5 ot 10 seconds.
- Select group of words to learn.
